EDWARD BRUMGNACH (BRUMNJAK)

Ed in Lošinj (Lussino), 2004.

Ed was born in Boljunski Katun, Istria, and today lives with his family in the borough of Queens, New York, NY USA.

He is professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at Queensborough Community College (QCC) of the City University of New York (CUNY), holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College, a Masters degree in same from New York University, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, and the author of Electric Circuits for Technologists and PSpice for Windows, A Primer. Ed's side interests includes writing on Istrian and Croatian themes for the Croatian Chronicle where he regularly also posts a Sudoku puzzle.

Ed also holds a 2005 copyright for his translation to English of Jules Verne's Mathias Sandorf which will be published by Wesleyan University Press in 2008. Ed is a member of four Istrian Clubs in New York City - Istria Sports Club, United Miners (Rudar) Soccer Club, Istrian Seamen's Benevolent Society, and the Cunski-American Social Club - plus he is on the Board of Directors of Istrian American Charities Association,. Inc, also in New York.
